Copper Hills Tips: Hole #2 on the Hills Course

Now that we’ve made it through Hole #1 on the Hill course, we thought we’d check back in wth our Golf Professional Alex for a few helpful tips on how to navigate our par 4 hole on the Hill, Hole #2.

Shot 1: Club – Driver

This hole starts off with a demanding tee shot. An elevated fairway leaves a blind tee shot for the player, while high mounds protect both sides of the fairway on this uphill hole. A player’s tee shot should favor the right side of the fairway to have the best look at the green.

Shot 2: Club – 9 Iron

A good drive should leave the player with a short iron or wedge into the green. The approach shot should be fairly easy as the green isn’t protected by much other than a front right bunker, leaving a large landing area for the player.

Shot 3: Club – Putter

Once on the green, depending on the pin placement, the player should have a good chance at two putting for par and maybe even roll in a birdie. The green doesn’t have much movement and is fairly flat, the toughest part of this hole is the demanding tee shot
