Copper Hills Updates & Renovations

Copper Hills Updates

Copper Hills has been hard at work updating and restoring the facility, working to bring it back to its standard of being one of the top golf courses in the state of Michigan. It all starts with the course. Chris Bertrand has come on board filling the role of Copper Hills superintendent to continue the golf course restoration. Working to bring the turf conditions back into top condition, Chris is doing this by improving the drainage and developing the tees fairways and greens surfaces.

Course Improvements

Over the course of the season, several improvements are planned. We are working to complete the remaining bunker renovations throughout the season. We have begun the transformation of our Clubhouse area with new siding and entrance improvements. We will continue to work in this area throughout the spring and summer. Still to come is an updated patio area with an outdoor food and beverage area. To the east of our tent pavilion, we will have some yard games like bocce ball and corn hole. When we are finished with this renovation, our patio will be like no other patio around. We will offer beautiful views of the course with an entertainment area for your after golf enjoyment.

The Driving Range

Copper Hills Driving Range

The Driving range will also see a renovation. The range is already a great practice facility in a quiet and scenic setting. Two of the target greens that have been neglected will be brought back to help sharpen your short game. A chipping area will be developed and an outdoor seating area will be added for those long sessions for you to relax and reflect on your swing thoughts. Bringing a golf course back into condition takes time and a huge effort. Copper Hills appreciates your comments and compliments over the past years that have allowed us to improve and given Copper Hills the honor it has received. We thank you.

Copper Hills hopes you enjoy the changes we are making, and visit often.

Happy Golfing!
